Wowowee Goes Down The Drain

And another one bites the dust as "Wowowee" goes down the list of noontime shows that goes down the drain. "Wowowee" started out strong and even gained on ratings against its main competition, "Eat Bulaga." But alas, heads swelled and another noontime show couldn't last against the long running, but still going strong, "Eat Bulaga."

Valerie Concepcion and Mariel Rodriguez, co-hosts of the soon-to-be defunct “Wowowee,” expressed sadness over having to let go of the show that they said they’d “grown to love.” Both welcomed, though, the replacement show, “Pilipinas Win na Win,” which will make its debut this Saturday, July 31.

According to an ABS-CBN, Revillame will not participate in the new show, and will instead be hosted by Robin Padilla and Kris Aquino while retaining Mariel Rodriguez, Valerie Concepcion, and Pokwang.
