NBA 2010-2011 Season Opener: Miami Heat @ Boston Celtics

In just a few more hours, the NBA 2010-11 Season commences to one of the best matchups to date; the Miami Heat vs. the Boston Celtics.

The Boston Celtics are this year's runner-up to NBA Champions and arch-rival Los Angeles Lakers. Although, they lost Rasheed Wallace to retirement, they shouldn't miss a beat in the middle with their acquisition of big men Shaquille and Jarmaine O'neal.

With the original ‘Big Three’ of Paul Pierce, Kevin Garnett and Ray Allen still intact, the Boston Celtics have another legitimate shot at a record 18th NBA title. The Celtics have what it takes to dominate, but will age catch up with Celtics and lose out on a potential NBA record 18th NBA title?

The Miami Heat got kicked out of the championship race in the first round by the Boston Celtics and they vowed to get better. Better they became when certified superstars LeBron James and Chris Bosh decided to join Dwyane Wade in Miami.

James, the league’s most prolific player last season, and Wade, if he stays healthy, can form a devastating 1-2 punch who could present nightmares to rival teams all the way to the finals. Add to the mix a true All-Star center in Bosh to form their own 'Big Three', and a supporting cast that include Jerry Stackhouse, ‘Z’ Ilgauskas and Eddie House--Miami coach Erik Spoelstra is now the envy of every NBA coach. (Except, perhaps, LA Lakers coach Phil Jackson).

The Heat too, surely has what it takes to dominate, but do they have what it takes to take home the ultime price--Larry O'Brien Championship Trophy?

Who do you think is going to win the NBA 2010-11 Season opener?!
