The Stig's Identity Revealed

The Stig's driving plus the mystery surrounding his persona has been on of the premier highlights of the popular car TV show Top Gear.

Many have tried to guess who the man was behind the Star Wars Clone Trooper-looking helmet and failed. In fact, The Stig's identity is in the ten most-searched-for terms on Ask.com.

Last year, Top Gear revealed Michael Shumacher as The Stig, but it turned out to be a brilliant joke in a really fun episode. A joke that only intensified attempts to unmask The Stig once and for all.

For seven years. the true identity of The Stig has been a closely guarded secret.... until now.

"Some say one of his eyes is a testicle."

According to The Sunday Times, The Stig is no other than Ben Collins, a Bristol-based former American speedway driver and stuntman who doubled for Daniel Craig in the latest James Bond film.

Let's wait and see how the Top Gear trio of Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May are going to diffuse this The Stig 'identity crisis.' ^^,
